MONTICELLO

                

Completed in May of 2009, the inspiration for Monticello was a house located in Monticello Park Historic District in San Antonio, Texas. Coincidentally, Monticello is Italian for small hill which upon rests Lonesome Dove Cottages' third cottage.

Designed with vintage pieces discovered in Bandera and Comfort, Texas, Monticello's unique features accent the modern feel of the cottage. With an open floor plan, this cottage is ideal for couples who enjoy some spaciousness or friends traveling together as it has two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen size bed and the other bedroom has a full size bed.

This cottage also has a living room with a flat screen television, a kitchenette with a range and two dining areas perfect for sharing a meal with loved ones. The two bedrooms share a full-sized bathroom that has a shower and bathtub. 

Stepping out the back door takes you onto a porch, which overlooks the Texas Hill Country. The backporch is the perfect place to slowly wake up while enjoying the morning breeze and your first cup of coffee. 

*There is a burn ban in Comal County at this time. Therefore, the use of the fire pit is prohibited at this time.*
